changed the blade in my razor today. as i suspected: i get a better shave with a somewhat dull blade. when it's fresh outta the dispensor, it's too sharp. doesn't seem to make sense to me, but that's how it is. not really a matter of razor burn (altho that's a little worse with the sharp ones), more a matter of simply not cutting close. that makes no sense at all to me -- a sharper blade should cut closer, right?

i dunno.

the fact is: i've shaved every day this week, and this is the first crappy one i've had. go figure.
